With multiple methods including STM imaging, AFM recognition imaging, and force spectroscopy to probe heparin-FX06 interaction at single-molecular level;

Identified single-molecular antithrombin-heparin interaction on different endothelial cell surfaces by AFM based force spectroscopy;

Applying aptamer modified AFM tip for the AFM recognition imaging of ricin;

Prepared the surface relevant regulable DNA toroids; with AFM technique, studied the behavior of DNA-dopamine complex in solution and on the liquid-solid interface;

Demonstrated the low temperature induced disassembly of the filaments consisting of DNA and RecA recombinase on the mica surface by AFM imaging;

Examined the inhibition of cationic polyelectrolyte (i.e., poly-L-lysine) on the RecA-DNA filaments formation to understand the reaction mechanism.
